edit: Got a little to excited. Bad punctuation and spelling.

20. Bravo!
I have posted similar messages on this forum for the past week or so.

As always, I applaud rank-and-file Democrats like yourself (please note that I am an independent, progressive voter) but condemn the Democratic leadership for being such weak pansies who refuse to stand up to RePUKEblicans. If these pansies were replaced by REAL leaders who uphold genuine party principles, the White House and the Congress would not be filled with so many reich wing subversive traitors like the scum who are infecting them today.

2. Yeah, I'm for walking out -- or maybe . . .
Edited on Sat Jan-21-06 07:37 PM by boobooday
. . . they should each give up their seat to an angry, average American like you or me.

What if, instead of a bunch of suits, Bush had to look out at a bunch of moms, and nurses, and teachers, and cab drivers, and soldiers, and cops, and plumbers, and truck drivers?

He couldn't hack it. He would ABSOLUTELY lose it.

5. Wear ear muffs
They won't do any sort of protest at all other than the 'I don't agree' speech afterwards, but I like the idea of every single dem wearing ear muffs while bonehead speaks.

17. I recall hearing about it a few years ago
Edited on Sat Jan-21-06 08:15 PM by jimshoes
regarding some Parlimentary thing in England where instead of the enthusiastic clapping they substitute a slow cadence single clap, in unison, every second or two to show disdain.
I appologize if that is not very clear but that's what I can remember.

Edit: This from wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Applause

Slow Clap

Slow clap as a (sarcastic) sign of disapproval - for example, Tony Blair giving a speech to the Women's Institute during the UK debate preceding the current War on Iraq resulted in a "Slow Clap"

21. Thanks Mr. jimshoes! I so appreciate the Brits
open signs of disrespect. :)

I sure would love to see the Senators (D) make citizen's arrests of all the regime though most of all at SOTU.

23. Sit on their hands but if that Son of a Bush says anything
about irresponsible criticism or natters on about how he is reaching out to his critics they should just yell "shame, shame, shame" and walk out.

I'd love to see them moon him en mass but that is not going to happen.
