1. They just announced that it's going to be commercial free
So the only one you can boycott is ABC

ABC sets ad-free '9/11'
'Path' is clear of commercials to varied outlets

By JOSEF ADALIAN

'The Path to 9/11'
Harvey Keitel stars as a former FBI terrorism expert who heads security at the World Trade Center in ABC's 'The Path to 9/11.'

ABC has decided the best sponsor for its upcoming Sept. 11 mini is no sponsor at all.

After originally announcing its intention to air "The Path to 9/11" with limited commercial interruption, the network now will air both parts of the $30 million Harvey Keitel starrer without any advertising.

What's more, the Alphabet will potentially limit its backend profits by allowing consumers to download the complete miniseries -- for free -- via Apple's iTunes Music Store. Mini also will be streamed for free via ABC.com, and XM Radio has pacted with the network to make an audiocast of the film available to its subscribers.

2. Talk about partisan cowards!
This movie is propaganda, pure and simple; showing it commerical free (ie with absolutely no revenue for the network) proves it.

Crimeny, even Faux isn't this blatant.

3. Okay -- what about the sponsors of the preceeding show?
I don't know what that is as I rarely watch the networks. Agrre, TechBear. This is blatant.

5. So they're going to make up viewership numbers like Diebold
and ESS make up vote counts.

<<Because "Path to 9/11" will air without sponsorship, whatever audience it attracts won't be officially recorded by Nielsen.>>

6. Dear God! Even the broadcast of Schindler's List wasn't
totally free of commercials (although Ford -- it was Ford, wasn't it?-- did a good job of not exploiting the film or its subject matter.)

And to think that ABC is putting this crass propaganda on completely commercial free. So much for the "liberal" media. And God damn fascist ABC and Disney. They are trying to influence the elections.

12. Someone is paying for it
The public has a right to know, particularly on a politically charged topic during an election year.

In some ways this is beginning to look like its flirting with FCC and FEC violations.

There are some regulations left.

4. Previously ABC said it would have "limited" commercials
I wonder if sponsors are backing off of this...

10. Sounds like they're running from it like it was plutonium
ABC is going to take a hit like they didn't anticipate. They should think of it as payback for a host of crap we on the left have endured over the last five years.

8. There's another way to try and beat them.
Call the cable companies and/or sat TV companies and request ABC be taken off your account.

14. The only problem is you have to couple your demand with
a request to cancel your cable if they don't honor your request for your call to mean anything to them. As long as we PAY the corporate media to lie to us, they couldn't care less if we don't like what they are saying.
