I've already decided to boycott CBS News over this stupid move. Katy Couric with her Bush-leaning views was specifically chosen by CBS News to appear more conservative after the Dan Rather fiasco. It's all about the money, not the truth.

I'm not aware that she is a right winger at all. The Right rather dislikes her, and her sister was a Democratic state senator.

I just think she is lacking in gravitas, but I'll give her a fair chance.

From a job performance point of view, I object to the pointless dismissal of Bob Schieffer. Seemed to me he was doing just fine and didn't require any of the glitzy overhead.
