I mean, I really don't watch much of anything else on ABC except "Lost" (gave up on Desperate Housewives ages ago).

I can live without "Lost" but cannot tolerate lies being created and called "Docudrama"

1. Me too
Lost is the only TV I watch on commercial TV...

But we all could be wrong and the 9-11 show is fair... But I do not count on it.

3. Count me in as well,
much as I also love Lost and Grey's Anatomy, as well. That "docudrama" is bullshit and should be exposed as the blatant neocon propaganda piece that it is.

4. I've dropped them an email...
letting them know I will permanently boycott their station if they air the factually incorrect version of the docudrama. I'm sure they figure a couple people won't matter, but that's what Wal-Mart used to believe.

9. MY Letter to KESQ, local RW affiliate
To Whom it may concern:
We have been made aware by Move on.org that you intend to run a politically
charged mini series with an extreme Right Wing agenda Please be advised that
to air a piece of fiction blaming Clinton for Bush's failures is not in the
public interest and that we will vehemently oppose your license renewal and
start contacting your local and ABC national advertisers and advising them
that You (KESQ) does not want Democrats' business. This can be prevented by
a good faith effort to correct the inaccuracies>

Richard Clarke, the former counterterrorism czar, has already exposed a key
scene as pure fiction: "this scene-which makes the incendiary claim that the
Clinton administration passed on a surefire chance to kill or catch bin
Laden-never happened. It was completely made up by Cyrus] Nowrasteh."4
This is a divisive piece , totally inappropriate at this time
thank you,
mitchtv

5. I Also Emailed My Local Station
Edited on Tue Sep-05-06 02:57 PM by The Deacon
The Email:

Dear Mr. Brantley,
This is to inform you that my family & I will no longer be watching your station. We will also be endeavoring to convince any of your advertisers we can to pull their advertising from your station. This is a direct result of ABC-TV's decision to broadcast, as though it was based upon the 9/11 Commission Report, the fictional narrative & political polemic The Path to 9/11. Much of the premise of this piece of propaganda, at least the pieces which have been available pre-release, completely flies in the face of the actual 9/11 Commission Report, and to say that it bears any relation to it beyond sharing a date in its title is to do a disservice to history & to the memory of those who died that awful day. I worked the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks as a volunteer, I have many friends who worked in those dreadful days after the planes hit the Twin Towers, the Pentagon & the Pennsylvania countryside - we are all enraged that ABC-TV would make itself a party to this sort of distortion of recorded history. I will also make it my business to see that none of the 100,000 free DVDs that ABC-TV is planning on distributing to schools ever make it into a Southwest Georgia school.
Please be assured that there is such a thing as History, and there are such things as Slander and Libel - and ABC-TV has crossed the line into Slander & Libel.

advising them that it ia apparent they do not want Democrats' business. I live in a small market with lots of restaurants andfurniture stores ads on enough calls could upset some applecarts

7. There's not anything on TV you should mourne giving up
I haven't watched much TV since March 19,2003. I'll catch the occasional SG1 or some stupid tear-jerker movie. I think the best thing you can do is leave the TV off. It's not worth being entertained to death. What good books have you read lately? It might sound like an ex-smoker creed, but reading offers so much more than passive entertainment. My last re-reads were Koontz's "Dark Rivers of the Heart", Hickam's "Back to the Moon", and Lillian Jackson Braun " Cat" series. Forget the TV and save your brain.

Be Well Lynne
