Something else you may not know about George "macaca" Allen.
His middle child is named Forrest Allen ... named after Nathan Bedford Forrest. That would be the same Nathan Bedford Forrest who slaughtered approximately 200 African-Americans at Fort Pillow during the Civil War. Many of the dead were crucified on bed frames or burned alive. The same Nathan Bedford Forrest who went on to even greater glory as the founder of the Ku Klux Klan. George Allen displayed a noose and a Confederate flag in his office for years (Southern heritage, don't you know?) As a teenager in Southern California he was popped for spray-painting racist graffiti. To top it all off, he is almost certainly the dumbest mother-fucker to ever serve in the U.S. Senate. Does anyone need any further reasons to donate to the Webb for Senate campaign?

1. RED LIGHT SPECIAL FOR VIRGINIA VOTERS
I hope the Marine opens a can of whup-ass spray paint on this "typical republican."

11 Bravo, me thinks you may have gone out a little bit on the limb. "The dumbest mother fucker to ever serve in the U. S. Senate." No doubt DUers from Texas, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania will jump to the defense of their Senators who hold claim to the title. My Trent isn't even mr congeniality.

6. There is wrong and there is dumb
I agree that Allen seems to function at a lower level than any other Senator I can think of.

16. Check post #12, BOSS.
(I meant to reply to you, but accidentally replied to myself. Semi-embarrassing in a post about dumb-asses!)

23. Wait a second
You took responsibility for an error as soon as you discovered it. What are you, a fucking liberal? Webb was SECNAV when I was in CrackerJacks. I thought he was a pain in the ass (Because he was.) But there was no ambiguity in message or mission or responsibility. I suspect he enjoyed cracking the whip at some panty waist sailor boys. Semper Fi Marine. One more mission to go.

2. Interesting. But the fact that Allen is a racist and is proud of it
is what makes him so appealling to his constituents.

4. I heard his other two children were also named for prominent Confederates
Tyler and Brooke.

Also from Wikipedia, this priceless bit of Felix-related trivia: (he hates the middle name "Felix", therefore we should use it whenever possible, like "Leslie" for Wolf Blitzer :P )

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Felix_Allen#United_States_Senate

Allen played a minor role as a Confederate officer in the 2003 film Gods and Generals, a movie which included many cameos of politicians such as Senator Robert Byrd and former Senator Phil Gramm... His role included singing "Southern Rights Hoorah!"

7. How do you know this?
I just hope he wasn't named after one of my heroes - Forrest "Phog" Allen - greatest coach in Kansas Basketball History.

9. I don't doubt he's racist.
I'm just asking how the OP knows for certain that is who his son is named for. I think we would look very foolish if it's not the case.

I just want to make sure it's not the famous basketball pioneer, Forrest "Phog" Allen.

As much as I hate racist George Allen, I should give him the benefit of the doubt. He very well may have named his son after the coach.

10. Hopefull Russett will bring some of this up on MTP when Allen and
Webb debate next week. Russett was very lax by never bringing up Sanitorum's hatred of gays last week in the Casey debate.

12. Good point, BOSS.
Constituents of Cornyn, Hutchison, Inhofe, Coburn, and Santorum (I don't know why, but I'll give Spector a pass) certainly can make a case for their senator in the dumb-ass sweepstakes, but I'll stick with Felix Allen. (As an aside, if you could meet Jim Webb, you would be truly impressed. He wears the Navy Cross for one reason and one reason only. He survived his wounds. Otherwise his wife would have received a nice flag and Jim would have a posthumous CMH.)

24. Yet he wants to import foreigners as means to improve America...
The very people he likes to call macacas... (never mind that it's not about bringing people to KEEP over here; it's to train them, then ship them back to their home countries because that's far cheaper. The H1B stuff has nothing to do with improving America. Only decimating it these days.)

The irony is bizarre.

The guy just has no credibility whatsoever. Maybe more people will finally realize it.
