Max watched Gonzales stutter and him haw and obfuscate and said five years after the attack the neo cons don't get it, and they attacked Jack Murtha instead of al qaeda.

2. Oh man! You should consider renaming your thread title

I heard Cleland and WOW! I almost began a thread on his statements, but thought I would check out the gonzo threads first.

For anyone who didn't hear it, Wolf asked Cleland if he agreed with what gonzo had just said, and in an outraged voice Max said, "I agree with a DAMN thing the Attorney General said." Cleland goes on to blister the administration for conflating Iraq with Al Quaeda, saying, "It is Al Quaeda, stupid."


It is a must see. I hope C&L gets the video up for those who missed it!!!

3. I watched that! Gonzales was pathetic.

Trying to walk a fine line between keeping the fear ramped up and showing actual progress in the "war on terror," and falling flat on his face in the process. All he managed to prove is that Osama bin Laden is smarter than the entire Bush administration, which is not hard to believe at all.

4. Duh!! didn't we pull out 95% of our soldier hunters who were

looking for Osama...Only to lie our way into Iraq and now bogged down in a quagmire where we are financially hemorrhaging badly needed dollars while the rest of us are flushed down the toilet.
