He said at the beginning of the show that Air America has decided not to renew Mike's contract, and that he'll be sitting in for the next 2 weeks, and that Laura is indeed replacing Mike after that.

I'llmiss Mike, but I'm sure he'll be back somewhere, and my friends on DU will keep me aware of where he surfaces!

As I said, I'll give Laura a chance. I haven't found any other radio host I prefer listening to at the same time.
