Amazing to watch now two years later.

Most notably

2:15 Ben-Veniste tries to cut Condi off from just stalling and killing his time to ask questions (we see this again later)

3:10 This part REALLY amazes me now-Condi states that regardless of what was in the PDB or any other information they were never TOLD what to do or that anything needed to be done. They have to be TOLD??

3:24 the infamous "And what was the title of that memo" segment

watching this again it seems odd that someone didn't come and tried to end the hearings right there. Condi must be pathological to continue to sit there and continue with her talking points.

5:20 Okay I have said "AMAZING" already too many times but this part takes the cake. After Ben-Veniste establishes that intell was red hot for the whole summer and that there are known to be cells in the US and he asks Condi if Bush was told about this she coldly almost anticipating it says "Do you have other questions you want ... want me to answer?" Now there could be some editing with the crowd shots here (this is where they start) but I do seem to remember everyone just being amazed that she could just sit there and continue with this.

6:08- 6:32 Ben-Veniste asks if the PDB can be declassified. LARGE round of applause at this point. Condi still says "This was not a warning... historic...."

1. Condi lied to the faces of the 9/11 widows

At the time, the Freeps were indignantly declaiming on Mr. Ben-Veniste's rudeness in
interrupting her. He was interrupting her because she was perjuring herself. When
the 8-6-PDB was released publicly, it was clear she had perjured herself under oath.
And yet a few months later she was promoted to Secretary of State with no outcry in
the media.

The German news weeklies Die Zeit and Der Spiegel claim that the "Bin Laden Determined
to Strike in US" memo was actually 11 pages long. The redacted part centered at the
bottom of both pages is consistent with a page number. Does it say "Page 1 of 11" and
"Page 2 of 11"? Otherwise why would it be redacted? And why would you need page
numbers at all in a two-page document?

These guys were probably all really great in grade school with 'dog at my homework' excuses.

It really is unfortunate that we don't have news media in this country anymore. She and Bush* would be in jail for treason right now.
