For those of you who belong to your legislative area’s Democratic party groups, what do your groups accomplish for the cause? What sort of things do you do?

I would like to be active in mine, however my wife wonders if they actually are able to do anything. She feels we’d accomplish more by just volunteering for a candidate.

Your thoughts?
