Good Golly Miss Molly!! CBS News/Couric Is Now Officially FOX'S TWIN!!
Okay so I was curious about Couric and quickly turned it to CBS News to see her presentation. What I saw was so much worse than I had imagined!

First of all, Couric interviewed Bush tonight. My first thought was, "Yo Katy, where's the journalism? Where's the hard-hitting questions?" I quickly learned that the purpose of the interview was not to provide journalistic insight but rather to CLARIFY BUSH'S POLICIES.

Katy would ask, "Mr. President, could you explain this," and "Mr. President, what about your position on that..." Nothing hard-hitting, just asking Bush to clarify his policies.

Later on in the show, kiss-ass Katy took her "viewers" on a tour of a super-secretive "nerve center in the war on terror" to prove how her beloved, revered Fuehrer is protecting us.

I call BS!! Big time!

This is FAR, FAR worse than I dreamed. Sad! CBS News has now become the new FOX.

:puke:

1. So we've lost CBS and ABC
If they weren't already lost.

NBC has been gone for a while.

Um... maybe it's time to get out of the country?

are giving us an idea how far they'll go. An all out battle over the constitution is also brewing. The sh*t is about to hit the fan.

9. I wondering if the networks, realizing they've lost the "intelligentsia"
...have decided on an all-out campaign to keep the fluff viewers. It seems that more and more true news watchers are turning to the Internet(s) for their information and commentary (or so is my experience when talking with friends or co-workers). So what's a Corporate news whore to do? Turn your once hard-hitting news network into fluff viewing in hopes of keeping your numbers up.

12. Well, at least we still have Keith Olbermann on MSNBC's Countdown
I love the guy! (even when his producers make him do the dumb Suri Cruise stories).

14. It's OK though.
I don't like the fluff either, but it does draw in viewers and then Keith slips in the good stuff. I have no doubt he's influenced many unsuspecting viewers that way. ;-)

13. I'm in political hell right now.
My in-laws lean right....they have a Michael Savage book on the book pile in the kitchen. But proclaim themselves independents who detest all political parties.

I have not been able to utter a single word (and my state had a primary on Monday!)

Needless to say, I did not tune in to Katie this evening.

The last week has been uber-depressing. Did the U.S. ever have a representative democracy? I'm beginning to think not.

17. It's new, it's improved--it's INFOTAINAGANDA!!
Watch Katie praise Our Leader's wise and just policies while licking his handsome and manly testicles!!

Cripers. The network execs are all rightly afraid they'll find little envelopes full of anthrax in their inboxes if they don't play ball.
