Olbermann explains why he wasn't on MSNBC political coverage today
On Dan Patrick's radio show, he said he'd been invited to participate in today's day of political shows, but that he'd been spending too much time away from Dan's show (in part because of his recent vacation) and ESPN Radio was getting a bit testy, so he opted to turn down the offer and do Dan's show today instead.

So, it's official...MSNBC didn't snub him, he turned them down.

Today's radio show was a riot. He had a lot of scathing things to say about Ms. Couric.

7. To put it mildly, he's not impressed by her news credentials.
Dan was teasing him, implying it was only because he's envious of her.

I'll have to go back and recount some of the stuff he said.
