Clinton was one of the most popular presidents of my time. Even more so than Reagan. Even hard core conservatives that I know, who hated Clinton when he was president, now say that Clinton was a great president. If this is a GOP strategy to hurt Democrats for the November election, I think it will fail miserably. Their time and money would be better spent going after a weaker target not the Big Dawg!

only referring to the fact that he lost Congress in his 1st 2 years. I have heard one admit that if he knew Clinton would end 40 years of Democrat control in the House of Representatives, he would have voted for him. And they are fuckin thrilled with his welfare reform and don't ask/don't tell. Bob Dole couldn't have done better for them. And don't forget how he "helped" Gore's campaign so much.
