Anyone remember a Six Degrees type site for corporations and |
|
their CEO's and board members? It was the coolest site. You started by searching for a company. It then showed a round table with chairs that had names of the board officers on each chair. If you clicked on a chair, it would then split off and show you which other companies that person (from that chair) also worked for? You could continue to drill down by clicking on any chair in any grouping and see where that connection went?
I had the site bookmarked on my old computer but, alas, it is gone.
Anyone at all remember this site?

3. Yes it would show that |

as well as any member of the Disney board that you could follow the other companies that they are involved with too. Someone posted the link here in late 2004 and it was the coolest site. I know I can't describe it properly, but it appeared as if the new circle of chairs just shot out when you clicked a chair. It would then tell you what company (or companies if more than one) that person was an officer or ceo of too.
I used to search for different companies to see how they were connected just out of curiosity. That link would come in handy now I think.

It's totally rad. Sadly does not have EVERY connection. But wow, it sure adds up. Check it out, play with it. (You can move the executives around.)

What a useful site that would be if it were kept up to date.
