A message from ABC's Chairman of the Board

"We have established governance as a high priority at Disney for one simple reason-it's the right thing to do. By investing in Disney, shareholders are placing their trust in the board to help shape the overall course of the company's business and to hold management accountable for its performance. In the end, governance is all about creating an environment that promotes informed, objective decision-making in the interests of all shareholders."

- George Mitchell
Chairman of the Board

2. I've made certain I'm not invested in Disney.
This docu/drama (what an oxymoron) is a big black mark against ABC. Interesting that the shareholders all think it's worth it. Big tax break promised them post-election if they just commit to this one little favor?

4.  If he ever had a soul, the Chamber of Commerce sucked it out
and replaced it with one of their larvae.

I've written him before. Good luck.

6. Is he one of the corporate democrats -- a DINO?
I am surprised that he is part of corporation's leadership and has not impacted it's fairness policy in any noticable fashion.

7. I thought that he was
no longer on the board, he was voted off. It was recent, in the past month or two. Maybe it hasn't taken effect yet.
