True or False: The U.S. does not torture, its against our laws & values.
Edited on Thu Sep-07-06 12:14 PM by Philosoraptor
actual bush quote:

I want to be absolutely clear with our people, and the world: The United States does not torture. It's against our laws, and it's against our values. I have not authorized it -- and I will not authorize it.

Lets ask the nation's kids this true or false question in civics class. Then lets ask adults on the street the same question. Then lets ask college students, then lets ask liberals and conservatives the same simple question and see how many people's heads explode.

Thanks

1. FALSE; we do torture; TRUE, it's against our law to do so.
But then, we're a rogue state and in violation of just about every US and international law & treaty around.

As the entire world knows very well.
