Do We Have The Guts (will) To Boycott Disney?
It's pointless to threaten to boycott ABC's sponsors, since all of them advertise on other networks also. But there is one company that is EXCLUSIVELY ABC -- its parent company, Disney.

Disney is a target that CAN be hit. From the theme parks to the movies to the thousands of offshoot products, we can at least stop contributing to the coffers of this company that uses the public airwaves to tell political lies.

Remember, the company isn't "ABC" -- It's "ABC-Disney." Let's treat it that way.

6. Yes.
If at all possible.

I boycott everything I can, but I still use an ATT landline to get access to the Internet.

I do not subscribe to cable tv, and I'm boycotting Wal-mart.. but I still shop at Target.

I think their only product I utilize is their movies, so I'll need to be careful about who's producing what when I rent a DVD, but I'm not going to support someone who thinks so little of America as to lie through its teeth about who's at fault.

Crap. I hope they didn't produce Walk The Line. That's the only movie I ever wanted to buy.

New PDB: Disney determined to strike in U.S. The attack will be spectacular.

8. Just How Much "Guts" Do You Think It Takes To Avoid Mickey Mouse?
Disney is not the all powerful ruler of the world. Neither You, nor I, nor anyone else has any requirement to buy their products. There is not one single damned thing the company produces or a single service it provides that is not available elsewhere.

So what kind of grand act of bravery is it to simply buy elsewhere?

All we need is the information detailing what is owned or controlled by them. Tell me its Pepsi and I'll drink Coke, tell me its Pizza Hut and I'll dine at McDonald's, tell me what movie they made and I'll rent something else. Its not that hard.

ABC, Disney, ESPN and any other holdings. If I owned Disney stock, I'd be putting a SELL in today, for ALL of IT.

12. Pull Out All The Stops,...
---- It would seem to be fairly easy to make Disney pay for its unholy alliance with the neocons. Boycotting their theme parks, movies, TV Channel and myriad products will have an effect, provided the boycotting is undertaken by at least half of the majority of Bush opponents,.... say 30 million people. And boycotts aren't the only game in town.

13. I've been boycotting them for years.
ABC is no different to me than FUX. Therefore, I plan to use the remote to block their station from even entering my home. Why risk clicking through the channels and stopping, however briefly, on ABC. I'm at a point where the damage is done regardless of what they do with their fantasy film.

A society of free people shouldn't have to fight this hard for the truth or for fairness on such an important subject.
