Bernie Ward SLAMS Tucker Carlson over his suggestion to apologize to Rove
WOW. I hope somebody got this on tape. That talk show host Bernie Ward can really
think on his feet. Tucker tried every which way to convince viewers that Rove
deserves an apology because he was not convicted of any wrongdoing in the Plame affair.

Bernie knocked back everyone of Tucker's fast balls right into his face. It was
purely a sight to see. Tucker started hemming and hawing... struggling to find some
way to respond to Bernie's truths.

Wow. I love that guy Bernie. Tucker could NOT stand up to him -- WHATSOEVER.

Tucker is a fucking embarrassment.
He is such a fucking nerd... a real dweeb.
Make me want to vomit. I don't know which
guy I despise more... Tucker or Hannity.

7. Believe it, Bernie is ahead of the curve on that one...
and is spitting mad. Visit his web page at KGO to read the action he recommends.

11. Bernie has been all over the Path to 9/11
for the past two nights - spending 3 to 4 of those six hours of his show. Bernie was GREAT as always with Tucker today

I mentioned in another post that I NEVER watch the MSM cable crap - no news - no talking heads - once in a while I'll watch Keith Olberman but usually just clips on the internets - WHY because these shows literally make me sick - I watched parts of Tucker today simply because I knew Bernie was going to be on - he mentioned it on his show last night - anyway between the Brock thing and even with Bernie I am literally SICK TO MY STOMACH - Tucker flat out sat there and effing LIED - Bernie had him stuttering a bit - but his claims about Brewster Jennings and Valerie Plame were absurd lies - I don't think ANYONE is now disputing that Valerie Plame was a covert CIA operative - and Tucker was a COMPLETE ASS to suggest that outing her was no big deal

Folks, those of you who can watch this SHIT - my hat is off to you because I CAN NOT TAKE IT...it is no wonder so many Americans are clueless freaking idiots about what is going on when this is the crap they are exposed to - makes me so sad and frustrated because the media along with the election fraud is probably our two biggest problems and I just don't know how we can EVER turn this right wing corporate enabling media around.

I love Bernie, but I don't think I can stand to watch any of this crap ever again....

Oh I'm so discouraged.....

then I started watching again, now I'm back to being too mad to watch. I've got a life to live and I can't seem to calm down easy after watching those jerks.

21. Anger is good if we harness it
I listen to Brother Bernie six days a week, and have been doing so for well over twenty years. I started with the Church of the Holy Donut ("all religions are based on dough") on his Sunday Morning talk show "God Talk". We learn as a group how to focus our anger to do some good in society. Check 'God Talk' out and channel some of that anger into good energy.

Edited on Thu Sep-07-06 04:21 PM by laststeamtrain
He's definitely my favorite radio raver. I think he's argued with a Jesuit or two in his time; and won.
I hope there is tape of this. Thanks for the heads up.

12. Bernie, the Franciscan admits often...
he learned the finer points of debat from the Jesuits. Something about taking logic fallacy to the final conclusion. He was a quick study.

14. Yeah. I've heard him say that.
Once he's got a caller to commit to a logical absurdity they're doomed. What's weird is how easy it seems to find people who will do that. The power of Kool-aid I guess.
In a perfect world when McLoughlin retires Bernie will take over & it'll become the Ward Group.
I've heard that KGO's sold. I hope the new bosses don't mess with the late night schedule.
I think Bernie's gonna be loaded for bear everynight leading up to the first Tuesday in November.
:hi:

16. I hear from some circles that he is writing a book
and he admits it's been hard to stay focused on the single theme that pulls this whole mess together, but the rumor has it that he's made some breakthroughs with some original thought. It just might be an Opus.

8. That segment demonstrated that Tucker is completely ignorant...
Edited on Thu Sep-07-06 04:19 PM by LostInAnomie
... about the Plame affair. For weeks he has been crying about it and how Fitz has wasted our money and should be thrown in jail. Ward made it evident that Tucker knows very little about the case and the events that led up to it. Tucker has just been mouthing RW talking points without knowing what they mean.

Bernie Ward is a real treasure.
Nobody can take down a Freeper like "The Lion of the Left" (Bernie Intro--Short MP3. Listen--Smile.)

When Malloy was still on AAR, a liberal could actually listen to 10 continuous hours of *fire-breathing* liberal radio.

(Times PDT)
Mike Malloy 7-10PM
Bernie Ward (KGO) 10PM-1AM
Ray Taliaferro (KGO) 1AM-4AM

And when I say fire-breathing, I *mean* fire-breathing. None of these three give an inch of ground to numbnut Freepers.

KGO 810 AM Web page (link fixed)
Yes, they have archives for podcasting, most recent 24 hours.

He and Ray Taliafero (both of KGO 810, SF) are amazing. It's good to see Bernie was on and did well, although I'm not surprised. Thanks for the post.

19. Bernie & Ray have kept me sane and sleep-deprived for YEARS.
Long before the internets, long before Air America, KGO has blasted a powerful nighttime signal that covers the entire North American west coast.

I live in Portland, 600 miles north of SF, and it comes in every night.

Driving at night, it can be heard from Alaska to New Mexico.

I've got an old-school thing for radio, and those guys are the best.

23. I am closer to SF
but in a location where all I get in the house is AM. Bernie is my late evening "companion" every night that he is on. And on occasions when I must drive The Valley (Sacramento) at night, you can bet I listen to him. Great guy, able to punch holes in the non-logic of freeper types every time.

and he's got it down! He's the only one who could ever take Mike's place, if we have to go there.

22. Bernie is way better than Mike at what he does
As Mike is better than Bernie at what he does. They do different things. Mike is essentially a painter. He is the master of statement. Bernie is a debater who commands all the facts. It seldom happens that Bernie doesn't absolutely crush his opponant.
