If ABC wanted to be factually accurate then they would have used |
Richard C. Clarke's Against All Enemies But what a boring movie that would make, Clarke constantly sending memo's urging for a meeting about terrorism with Bush and them being completely ignored by Bush for his first 8 months in office. While during Clinton's term, Clinton had counter terrorism as his top priority during his second term.
For those of you that haven't read it, it really is a great book and explains a lot about how the attack happened.

4. Apparently fundies are behind this film |
using GOP money. If you know anything about Christian revisionist history, then you'll understand this movie HAD to be made and promoted in an effort to save the soul of this nation. (I'm not kidding). Unforunately, diabolical men like Karl Rove know these people will do anything in the name of God, so they use them. Republicans have become genius at using and manipulating fundamentalists to attain political power.

5. The message is that Dems are weak on terror. It has nothing to do |
with a retelling of facts related to 9/11. The movie is supposed to cap off a week of bush speeches that carry the theme of Dems being weak on terror. It's a simple minded campaign.
