Is "Path to 911" a rebuttal to the documentary
that Spike Lee produced?

Just asking. It seems that the RNC is desperate to direct attention from "When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts" to terra, terra, terra, IT'S THE CLENIS FAULT."

1. I think it's been filming for quite a while — it couldn't be a rebuttal.

2. Spike Lee's documentary was in production for quite a while. They
knew it would be released before the election. Why would the RNC not look for a distraction?

4. Maybe it's just a big steaming pile of propaganda — and not a rebuttal
to anything.

Besides, this whole mess started too late to take attention off Lee's film — that started showing a couple of weeks ago. If it was a distraction, their timing was off.

7. It is a steaming pile, I agree. But Spike Lee's documentary was
in the works for a long time. They must have known the impact that it would have. That is why I am wondering if this isn't a film to distract from the failures of Katrina.

5. It's PR.....and..
it's what they do. Image, message, and crafting reality IS what we used to call 'political debate'. Think tanks, K-Street, focus groups, psychologists....all getting together to sell us a new and improved version of our history.

6. This is more like "The Psychopathy After 911" than
a rebuttal to anything. Rightwingers are batshit>
