4. You're welcome
I think of my Marine nephew constantly. He's served two tours in Iraq but now will be stationed to a naval ship.

Did you know every ship must have a contingent of Marines on them?

3. Against a populace who weren't doing one damn thing against anyone.
Us included.

If only rightwingnuts had empathy and/or imagination; imagine say China invading & occupying the USA. Imagine your wife, sister, daughter, being mauled by Chinese soldiers in a language you can't understand. Imagine being helpless to do one damn thing about it; they have the machine guns, they are the invaders & occupiers.

Imagine your loved ones being raped & murdered.

Imagine your loved ones...or yourself...being stripped naked and jeered at, grabbed at, by Chinese soldiers, being ordered into "pyramids" and photos taken. Being ordered to shove sundry items up your arse. While Chinese troops stand by watching & jeering at you.

What would you do to any Chinese soldier you ever got your hands on???

I know what I'd do...and if I had to use sticks of dynamite or IEDs, fine by me.

So how come so many Americans just can't understand the FACT that the people of Iraq love their families just as much as we love our own and will revenge them just as we would?

The White Man's Burden strikes again.

5. We destabilized Iraq W's hands are bloody
These people did nothing to us. W has pretty well decimated them and their country. I am deeply ashamed, very deeply ashamed, he became the president of this once great nation. He did not do it through honor or fairness.

Thanks for putting the reminder on here Erika. It just blows me away how many people have no clue what the death totals are because the media so rarely mentions it.
