bush & blair. Breaking up is so very hard to do. |
|
Gosh I hate to see that cute couple, george and tony, going there separate ways. tony has to step down because he's hugely unpopular and they are tired of looking at him. I'll miss seeing the two of them doing their cute co-joined twins routine, w blithering about the war on terra, and tony translating into English.
Who will bush's new playmate from Great Britain be? Will it be somebody as nice as tony was? He was so congenial and logical sounding against bush's grunts and farts and fuck ups, and he supported w's war no matter what, no matter how ridiculous or illogical.
And what a mighty allie was Great Britain, what will happen with all that business?
Was it mainly the albushtross around tony's neck that finally did him in? Y'know they are not too very fond of our president over there, and the obvious love affair between the two men has been just too, too tawdry and cheap and vulgar, and the love boat has hit a reef.
What if the next PM doesn't like dubya and won't play war with him? Will we go to war with England again, and stop buying English products? Instead of fish and chips, will there soon be freedom and chips?

1. Phony Bleurgh's low popularity is largely due... |
|
...to his complicity in the whole fraudulent charade that got the US and UK into Iraq. His replacement would have to be a total idiot to stay close to Shrub, unless he (and it will inevitably be a 'he') wants his tenure to be shorter than the lifespan of a mayfly. So the UK will necessarily have to distance itself from the US to an extent. Of course, they can't do this to the same extent as the rest of Western Europe, because the UK is just as embroiled in the Iraq debacle as we are.
I'm guessing that the new PM will still make the 'right' noises about being tough on terror, but will spend considerably less time gazing at Shrubby with big coweyes.
I'm stocking up on English Muffins, however, just in case things turn sour.

BUSH**: "Yo, Gordy -- "
BROWN: "Fuck off, you shit-faced little prat!!"
If they make it a reality show, I'll watch!

4. Prescott would be even better. |

One wrong word out of Chimpy, and Fatty Two-Jags would deck him. Of course, Prescott would then be locked up in Gitmo forever, so everyone would be a winner. For more on the pugillistic Mr. Prescott, see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Prescott

Hubby's from Hull, so he and mum are fans.
Wasn't Prescott the one who decked the egg thrower six or so years ago?

That's why I think he'd be likely to give Shrub a slapping too. After all, Prescott's already called him an idiot, apparently.
