MSNBC's Alex Wittless: "Clinton never declared war on bin Laden."
Unfortunately, Alex Witt epitomizes the current state of broadcast journalism. I was watching her show on MSNBC this morning. The topic was the ABC propaganda movie, “The Path to 9/11” and the Democratic response to it. Witt apparently thought she was making an intelligent point when she pointed out that “…but Clinton never made an offical declaration war on bin Laden.” (paraphrased)

So she thinks Clinton should have asked congress for a declaration of war against an individual?

Is she an idiot or rightwing tool...or both?

Well, one thing is for sure, she already proved herself an idiot ealier in the broadcast.

Witt was discussing red state hero, escaped convict and cop killer Bucky Phillips with a guest (or maybe it was a field reporter). Witt mustered all of her journalist expertise and asked the guest something like “With hunting season opening soon, if Phillips murders a deer hunter will that add to the fear of him and possibly lead to further charges?”

LOL

Murrow must be rolling in his grave. Where do they find these people?

2. neither did Bush
Bush talks about a "war on terror" - as if you can carry on a war against a noun. Most countries go to war against some other country, or at least an identifiable organization.

3. Then again, he never said "bin Laden doesn't concern me"
and SURRENDERED to ol' Osama. I think we need a law about wingnut hunting. Perhaps a limit of two.
