WTF is "Jesus Camp?"

5. It's a camp where kids wear combat face paint

and have a fat woman bray at them constantly about having to kill the rest of us in a final conflict in the name of Jesus.

The martial arts training doesn't look terribly effective, but the psychological training is.

It's pretty hideous stuff, not for the faint hearted.

I feel pretty confident Jesus Camp will eventually be investigated for child abuse and shut down.

8. I went to Jesus Camp long ago...

Caught pnemonia, too. They put us in cabins with concrete floors in mid-winter. We had to sleep on the floor because there were no bunks. The counselors got to stay in the main lodge which was heated (the cabins were not). At some point during the camp, there was a car accident up the road. Some of the Xtians ran up to the victim, who was in very bad shape, and told him that he needed to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior, or he was going to hell if he happened to die. SICK! This is why I despise fundies. I was one for a brief period, and they scare the sh*t out of me. Most I've met are fucking soulless, shallow shells of human beings.

9. The Jesus Camp Looks Like a Cult!

Just watched the trailer for Jesus Camp on its hompepage. It is scary to know that there are people out there who claim to be religious and love god while they are dressing their children up in camouflage like they are getting ready for war.
