St. Martin's Press recalled "Fortunate Son" when MSM trashed author
Never mind the allegations in the book, about B*sh's cocaine use, were not in dispute or ever disproven-- St. Martins caved to a massive MSM campaign to dessiminate unflattering personal information about J.H. Hatrfield, the author-- a convicted felon. But the ACTUAL facts in the book were not challenged nor disproven nor shown to be fiction. The MSM never bothered to give them the light of day.

Fast-forward to FICTIONALIZED "Path to 9-11", the MSM (ABC) spent 40 million bucks on the fantastic propaganda authored by a self-professed "conservative Michael Moore" to defame Clinton and protect the Republican majority in Nov. 2006.

Can a massive public outcry, and veiled threats from Democratic Party leaders, stop this crap from airing?

3. Many of us at DU have long said our battle HAS to be exposing GOP control
of most corporate media.

Exposing that and the GOP control of voting machines should be Dem party PRIORITIES. Because the campaigns and elections depend on the fairness and accuracy of BOTH.
