"Law & Order" Rerun BEATS Couric's 9/11 Special in Ratings Match-Up
which makes me think that IF "P 2 9/11" is shown, it'll tank (especially up against football).

Katie Couric may be a ratings windfall at the helm of the “CBS Evening News,” but her shining star looked much dimmer in prime time. Her 9/11 special, “Five Years Later: How Safe Are We?,” was barely noticeable at 10 p.m. on Wednesday with an estimated 5.91 million viewers, down 19 percent from the time period’s previous average this summer, according to Nielsen estimates. The special, which featured Ms. Couric’s exclusive interview with President Bush, lagged behind a medical-mysteries-themed “Primetime” on ABC, which drew 6.04 million, and a repeat of “Law & Order” on NBC, which won the time slot easily with 9.12 million.

9. I took a picture of that sign, too. It's on Bleeker Street...
just up from that bakery on the corner that has the homemade cupcakes.

5. HBO has the only must-see tv anymore...but Law & Order is darned good
Or at least, it used to be back when Orbach was on it. His classic, sarcastic crusty old man with the soft side was perfect. LW pulls "Path to 911s" every week...it just pulls the latest sensational headline from the daily papers, changes a few names and juices it up, and calls it "original drama." ABC just forgot to change the names, and offer up some nakedness to calm the masses.

6. Jerry Orbach was a gem. I saw him in the original production of "Chicago."

14. Me too!
But the idea that even Dennis Farina in a rerun beat out Katie is just sweet. :)
