'Tie the House in knots, and start impeachment hearings' - Right Winger
You must watch this video I found at Raw Story on YouTube.

This Christian, Ex-Marine, card carrying NRA member, life-long Rightwing Republican Conservative wants to vote DEMOCRAT across the board.

He's no slouch, he's a very upstanding type guy. He is finally awake.

He says he wants to see Democrats take the House and Senate, tie it in knots, and start impeachment hearings against Bush!!!

MUST WATCH:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYSF3H6onrc

This just feels good, watching this video. :-)

1. Even as a Kansan, I am suspicious of RWers who support Dems
how long will they support us, afterall?

Sure, they might disagree with Bush, but it doesn't mean they agree with us.

They sure as hell aren't progressives.

Some of them are just trying to get in to corrupt and water down our party, advance their own careers, and spread their conservative message as Democrats.

Same shit, different name.

6. where were they...
when we actually needed them?

The one thing sort-of positive you can say about Bush is that he's upheld his campaign promises: tax cuts for the wealthy, screw the workers, curtailing civil liberties, endless wars, etc.

It's not like these RWers didn't know what they were voting for, so now that the country's turned to shit due to what their president has done, I say fuck 'em when they criticize Bush or even go so far as to say he should be impeached. Hey, geniuses, if/when Bush gets impeached, it'll be for doing exactly what he told you he was going to do (especially in '04), right before you voted to give him another four years.

The people who were so gung-ho for Bush until things turned south for him are the ultimate cowards: they first support the popular war-time President but then just as easily criticize the unpopular lame-duck President. The constant is that they want to be "one of us" whenever "us" is the majority.

4. The fact that he calls the doing their duty of oversight....
"tying the House in knots" is an indication that he isn't for real.

5. If you follow the Repuke Congress of the '90's example...
... that is exactly what you are supposed to do. You are supposed to shut down the government, spend millions investigating the president for something frivolous, and then impeach.

I think we could probably set a better example, but it sure would be gratifying to be childish assholes like the Repukes just for once.
