Facts in ABC PATH TO 9/11 and Dan Rather flap

Am I the only one to notice that the right drummed Dan Rather out of his job because a document he used might have been a forgery even though it didn't alter the central facts of his story whereas the far right actively spreads lies and disinformation, and is now doing it openly through one of the major networks?

These guys don't care about facts any more than they care about democracy or fighting terrorism, or anything else except winning so they can stuff money in their friends' pockets.

It would be nice if the Democrats started saying that--the GOP is essentially Third World Kleptocrats in Brooks Brother suits.
