How do the 9/11 'Doculie" actors feel about the movie/lie? |
|
I wonder how the many good actors that are in this horrible movie feel about it, they do need to work for a living. I loved Donnie Wahlberg in 'Band of Brothers' he played an excellent part. Does anyone know if they are speaking out?

1. There were a few threads earlier saying... |
|
...that Harvey Keitel is distancing himself from the movie (he was giving an interview about it on some showbiz program) and Donnie Wahlberg has taken the link to the movie off his website. Patricia Heaton is a wingnut, so she probably loves it. Don't know about the others.

2. I heard Dan Lauria on Ed Schultz |
|
Just caught the end of interview with Lauria, who plays Tenet. Lauria said the film was 65% anti-Clinton and 35% anti-Bush. He said the public has to understand what a docudrama is -- events are condensed, blah, blah, blah. So don't expect it to be accurate. Lauria claims to be very left wing, and I'll take him at his word. He sounded uncomfortable, but apologist. He played the father in "The Wonder Years" and is not a big name like Keitel.

3. Well you are asking about "good actors" |

so I know Patricia Heaton hardly qualifies, but she claims it was meant to be "fictional" all along and is not supposed to be a page by page factual retelling of the 911 report.
She says she doubts ABC will pull it, and the Clinton protests will only help promote the film.
This just on Access Hollywood!
It was a completely biased report complete with shots of Clinton hugging Monica, but then what would you expect of a show whose co-anchor is Billy Bush!

6. Shirley Douglas has good credentials |
|
She's been associated with Canada's left since she was born (father was Tommy Douglas, husband was Donald Sutherland). I would not be the least bit surprised if she took the role in order to give a sympathetic portrayal of Secretary Albright. (Though since I haven't seen the show I don't know what the script is like ... I may tune in for a bit, just to see how she tackles the character.) I might get a chance to ask her myself, later this fall (she's been invited to give a speech at an NDP conference in my town).
