Bush has to have SOMETHING on this man, he is sounding more and more like a Republican everyday! I think he was wiretapped and the Bushies called him in and said, "We know you like ham sandwiches, we have you on tape, and photos, toe our line or we leak. We did it to Joe Willson, we will do it to you."
I HATE HIM!
BTW, Watching him on Face the Nation

What a great country! A ranking long time Dem carries the water for a dispicable repuke president. Lieberman has done such good work this country?! He thought the brain dead idea of a federal department that sounds like something out of a poor musical: Dept of Homeland Security. He and another fake sob, McCain, got in bed with Chalabi and sponsered the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, that was a somewhat foundation for chimpie invasion and the current fix the US is in in Iraq. I had to turn off the show. I can't watch Lieberman anymore than I can watch chimpie. They both turn my stomach.

You are absolutely right: the Department of Homeland Security was HIS idea. I think they had even referred to it early on as "the Lieberman bill."
Bush was against it. And this was actually an area where I agreed with Bush (scary, isn't it?).
My thinking was "We don't need another government bureaucracy. Make these existing agencies TALK to each other." So I was against the creation of DHS.
But what amazes me is that once the Bushies realized that the majority of American people WERE for the creation of DHS, they could not stand the fact that the DHS bill had a Democrat's name on it; that a Democratic Senator would be linked with the idea of creating the DHS.
So the Bushies asked themselves how they could turn it around to their advantage. They did that by putting in all this language that would basically do away with worker's right (allowing DHS to fire employees with little notice or reason, etc).
And once the Democrats started speaking out against the lack of protection for federal employees in the bill, BushCo turned it around and said "see, those Democrats don't want to keep you safe."
They tried to take credit for something that was Lieberman's idea, and now he wants to cow-tow to those slimy bastards?

5. What I hate is that the corporate whores |

use him as their token "Democrat" on shows like this. Come on. He can call himself whatever he wants, but he sounds more like a repuke than a Dem and adds nothing to the discussion. Also, gives those watching who are on the fence no reason at all to think Dems are any different from their repuke counterparts.

6. My rule of thumb is: If you support Bush, in any way, something's |
|
not honest about you.
I don't give anyone the benefit of the doubt - if you support Bush, or prop him up in any way, you're not an ethical person. And I'd go so far as to say - you're a corrupt person if you support Bush.
Bush has been NOTHING but poison to America. You can't support that poison without turning a blind eye to the damage caused....and if you're turning a blind eye to it, you're just as guilty.
