The Republican Congress has failed in Its Constitutional Responsibility.
Edited on Sat Sep-09-06 07:02 PM by Montagnard
Over the last five years there has been no check and balance as called for under the constitution. The Republican congress has remained silent as the Republican President has committed violence against the constitution. Not once has the Republican Congress risen up to ask the Bush regime to explain its actions.

Bush has used signing statements to reject, revise or put his spin on more than 500 legislative acts. Bush has squandered more than $400 Billion on the quagmire of Iraq. Bush through his regime has lied to the Congress. Bush, through his regime has withheld information from the Congress. Bush, has pissed away the future of this country and not once has the Republican Congress raised it head to ask what or why! Their only response to the action of an out-of-control President is, Yes sir!

That is the reason that the American People need the congress to be lead by the Democrats.

2. There is no constitution
The new unwritten constitution is that a king is appointed by the moneyed elites every 4 years,
and like a CEO is instructed by the board, the king takes instructions. All residents of north
america are now to be known only as 'consumers'. The consumers have only the rights that the
king extends to them by generous edict. The king owns the sovereignty of all the consumers and
can have any of them killed or put in prison at any time by royal perogative.

The constitution is, "The king can do whatever the fuck he wants."
