Poll question: Do you know someone who spent a lot on Disney stuff in the last year?
By Disney stuff, I mean Disney World, Disney products, and the like.

There have been some threads about boycotts, so I was just curious to see how popular Disney is.

1. Yes, I just got back from a week at WDW.
My brother's family was also there as well as my father. My brother and his family were also there in February. We go every year and sometimes twice a year. In addition we spent money on their movies (Cars, Pirates) and bought more than a few souveniers. We love Disney World and will continue to go.

3. Well, they won't get a penny from me.....
and I'll do everything I can to make sure that I'm not indirectly giving them my money as well!

This is the ONLY power we have left - boycotts and buycotts - and it's the only thing these greedy pieces of shit will understand.

4. The problem is, boycotts don't work.
Not on them anyway. Just ask the religious reich. It's the biggest vacation spot in the world. They won't lose a dime over this.

1. Annual passholders to Disneyland.

2. Took a behind the scenes tour for the 50th Anniversary.

3. Purchased gifts for our niece from the park.

4. Purchased meals at park when family visited.

5. Movies and dinner at Downtown Disney.

6. Baby Einstein items for our niece and friend's kids.

7. Bought Disney's Lion King tickets for show coming to LA. (plan to sell these).

8. Planning a trip to WDW in December. Will be cancelled Monday.

9. Purchased Pixar films and Disney films for home. (My heart is breaking about Pixar--LOVE their films!)

10. Purchased an engagement gift for relatives (that are also Disney fans, and Dems) from the park.

Think they won't miss this family's revenue...?

7. Now that's the spirit, Bliss_Eternal....
look at it this way...during WWII American citizens were asked to make many sacrifices...we have been asked to make zero during this so-called war. If we can't get it together enough to boycott a greedy piece of shit company like ABC/Disney, we will lose this country for sure. This is the kind of sacrifice we should be able to make with ease.

9. I appreciate your support...
:hi::hug:

I'm getting so sick of posts from people saying things like,"...it won't work,..Disney's too big,...I won't give them up--because it won't do any good,...I love Disney too much,...my kids won't live without them..." blah, blah. Well fine. Get out of the damned way and let us that are willing to sacrifice something we enjoy for the greater good.

It's really nice to read great posts like yours. Thank you!

8. I'm an Annual Passport holder at Disneyland
and have been for years. I'm still going to go cause I already have the passport and can get in with it anytime with out paying. I will just go and not buy food etc. and when it comes up for renewal unless they change their attitude I'll think about not renewing. *sigh* :-(

10. When I go, I'll be passing out flyers exposing their lies...
and putting them on cars in the parking structure. When my expires they won't get another dime from me. It's a big sacrifice for us--we love going and walking around, riding, going to events, etc.

Our family comes down once a year to go to the park, we will let them know we will have to meet them off the property or fly to their area to see them.

11. Good idea
to put out flyers. I will hate to not renew, I will miss going there cause I enjoy it. Sometime it's difficult when you have principles and a conscience. :-(
