2. I'm not sure. I admit, I'm quite depressed tonight.
I'm so afraid the e-voting machines will once again give the election to the Pubs. I hate to sound like such a defeatist, because I'm usually not, but for some reason, tonight, I just caqn't pull myself out of the funk. There's no way to proveany misdeeds, and I'm scared!

3. I just think
Bush commenting on how he planned to resurrect his push to change
Social Security next year when he was reminded that some polls show Democrats were likely to win control of at least the House.

If Democrats were to let the American people know that Bush is going to screw with our Social Security if the they take back the house I think most Americans would be extremely worried.

4. You know....sometimes....
I get just plain pissed...how many homes have computers these days??? In other words, how many people are on line, and could belong to DU..or any number of blogs/groups that are telling people the truth...
I know we've all heard the saying...you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink....so IF the AMERICAN people haven't woken up yet...IF they still aren't paying attention...then what the hell are we going to do about it??? This is OUR country...it is time for US to be involved...not just some...but all of us...are people so stupid they don't realize that every law passed, every issue dealt with in DC...AFFECTS US ALL?? and isn't it time we hold the ones we elect accountable????

How many more elections have to be stolen????How many more jobs have to be outsourced??? How many pensions stolen..???? How many more cuts in social services or in paychecks??? How many more young lives lost in illegal wars??? How many more people losing everything is it going to take???? do we have to hit the absolute bottom, or third world status, before people say wait just a damn minute...??? IS it possible that a full one half of us can still think what's been going on for the last 6 years is just hunky dory?????? and IF so... then WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH US???

I don't want to be dragged along for this particular ride any more...I am sick of worrying about losing elections, and SS...of having to pay $600 a month for medical coverage...of trying to help support my kid/g.kids because my daughter doesn't make enough..and there is no help available for them..but you know what...I can only cast MY vote, donate to candidates, and voice my thoughts to anyone who will listen...I can't force anyone else to take action....it just seems we are hell bent on destroying or allowing this country to be destroyed by apathetic responses to all the bullshit this evil cabal has foisted off on us...What will finally be the last straw???

On a happier note, I did feel some hope the other day...I was driving in a town near us, on labor day..and as we went over a bridge...there was a guy standing with a big sign that stated...9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB....(6 months ago, you wouldn't have seen that) everyone going over that bridge on labor day had to see it (that number was in the thousands, bumper to bumper going home from the beach)...there was simply no way to avoid seeing the sign, he was in the perfect spot, and I considered his courage as I went by...I thought finally, finally... the people ARE waking up.... so I am going to try not to totally dispair, unless....we prove we still haven't woken up...and I pray to god...we have..cause if 50% of us haven't...then 99% of us will pay the consequences...the other 1% of course, are the ones getting richer by the day....that nothing affects...

after all these years of Bush crap you think people would get but, I am afraid they don't. We can only cast our votes and hope for the best.
