WorldNet Daily outs the source of fabricated 9-11 scene
A wingnut associate sent this to me, probably thinking it would convince me that the movie was accurate:

....In an interview with WND, retired Air Force Lt. Col. Robert "Buzz" Patterson said producer and writer Cyrus Nowrasteh called him the morning of Sept. 1, explaining he had used Patterson's book "Dereliction of Duty" as a source for the drama.

Later that day, Nowrasteh brought a preview copy of "The Path to 9/11" to Patterson for him to view at home. Patterson, who says he has talked with the director seven or eight times since then, also received a phone call from an ABC senior vice president, Quinn Taylor.....

Patterson is a serial liar, wingnut book author and hate radio host. Here we see that ABC used his fantasy book "Dereliction of Duty" as a source instead of the 9/11 Commission Report.

Unbelievable.

(tiny snip, there's more)

Lt. Col. Patterson also issued groundless attacks on Kerry's support for veterans, saying on FOX & Friends, "(H)e did not vote for a single military pay raise, for example, voting against pay raises 12 times" and on Hannity & Colmes that Kerry "voted against every single military pay raise, on 12 separate occasions." In fact, Kerry has supported military pay raises. For example, in 1999, he voted in support of a 4.8 percent increase in the "monthly basic pay for members of the uniformed services." Kerry also supported Defense budgets in 2002 and 2003 that increased military pay. (View the Senate roll call votes here and here.)

3. Bullshit. TOTAL bullshit.
A fucking light colonel in the WH WASHES the coffee cups. The 0-6 gets to make the coffee, and the one star brings it in on a tray.

Who's this asshole kidding? He was one of SEVERAL who carried the goddamn FOOTBALL. The reason they have several people to do this work is because it is a WATCHBILL function. It's the most BORING UNIFORMED JOB in the WHITE HOUSE, save being an escort 'arm' at official functions (and that's volunteer work; not a fulltime gig).

The last time a LCOL was allowed to run wild in the White House, Reagan was busy forgetting who he was. That's not the way it plays anymore, and it hasn't since Ollie North's era.

This guy was a LACKEY, a BAG CARRIER, fachrissake, and he wants to act like he was a big wig. He wasn't. But it sure takes one to know one--his conduct and his book scribbing can only be described as DERELICTION OF DUTY. He should be ashamed of himself.
