Democrats need to support the pro-democracy movement in Mexico!
Edited on Sun Sep-10-06 01:15 AM by Ken Burch
The Mexican people are waging the struggle for democracy that WE should have waged after the stolen 2000 election. And they are fighting for the triumph of the party that has the only solutions to Mexico's chronic poverty and the tide of immigrants it brings to the US.

Calderon is a reactionary, and will continue the neoliberal austerity policies that the GOP and the DLC have imposed throughout Latin America, policies that are bringing nothing but misery throughout the region.

It's time for Democrats to be on the right side of history.

Support Obrador, support the Mexican people, support people against corporate power throughout Latin America and the world. people before profits, democracy before profits, stability built on a foundation of justice.

Another world IS possible.

1. Damn right we do! I'm glad to hear you say it.
The republicans here in America are part of a much broader International network. They are constantly propping up dictators and shitheads all around the world while we stand by and pretend it is somehow in our "national interest" to see the suppression of our own core democratic values in places like Mexico, South America, and Israel. Its time to make our mark on politics by declaring our solidarity and intend to help these struggling movements for Democracy in South America, Mexico, wherever. Its ONE LOVE and one fight. :)
