Here is today's heartfelt blessing:
"You can come out of the furnace of trouble two ways: if you let
it consume you, you come out a cinder; but there is a kind of metal
which refuses to be consumed, and comes out a star."
~ Jean Church

The next time a problem arises, consider that perhaps it has come
to help you let more light out. It has come so that you might shine.

Gives you a whole new perspective on trouble, doesn't it?

And until next time...

Know that you are loved beyond measure and a cherished blessing to
me.

May your day be filled with all things good,

Kate

2. I was thinking about 9/11
the other day and how it effected me so deeply and personally afterwards... how emotionally I just wasn't the same 'me'. I have never gone back to that 'me' and I see that as a good thing now.

I needed to move beyond what I perceived as a safe place back then and begin to see the world as something I need to actively participate in to save those things and ideas I most value - not just watch from the sidelines and expect others to do my work and hope that 'they' value what I value.

This trial we are all experiencing right now just may be the only way our democracy will survive another 230 years. And if that is true, it is something to be grateful for and cherish despite the pain and death it is causing us and other innocents. This is larger than all of us. I pray we prevail.

Thanks for posting!
