VIDEO-Enemy of the State-Selected bits from movie
Watched this last night with jaw dropped

I didn't see this when it first came out-a couple of years later but before 2001. At the time I found it shocking and futuristic to think that people's activities could be viewed at close range via satellite-that was before I saw google maps this year.

Another jaw dropper was the 9/11 date of the NSA politician.

1. Thanks, liveoaktx for posting that- I missed seeing the movie.
:scared: Who's going to monitor the monitors?

2. If you haven't seen it, go run out and rent the movie and then pass it on
Had to wonder why ABC put it on their Sunday night movie. Maybe the broadcast honchos don't want to be spied on either

3. Just think that was the known capability in '96. We had much better
then and it's been another 10 years...
Did you know that anybody with a desire a little technical knowhow and less than $10K can monitor everything you do on you computer by simply reading the emissions of your CRT monitor from a van parked 1/2 mile away from your house? No bugging or installation of equipment needed? Thats right, they can watch everything you do on your computer remotely with no invasion of your home.
Just one example.

5. Thanks
I'll have to try to catch the film next time it's on. I've never been able to catch it at the beginning.

6. And that ability to closely view is why I firmly believe that NOLA
was genocide. "We didn't know it was that bad". Absolute BS. :grr:
