REPUBLICANS fight them over there so they don't have to fight them here. |
|
Which of these two do you believe? one of them or both?
They fight them over there so they don't have to fight them here.
They fight them over there so they can destroy the NEW DEAL and liberals over here.

2. then sign of a true christian republican coward. we will slaughter |
|
and kill thousands of innocent over there because we are such cowards to face and lose our own on our soil.
i have often used this "coward" comment on my many republican pure christian friends when they tell me fighting them there to not fight them here. the first time i heard that i was sitting in a chapel talking to a friend. i was outraged. my mouth hung open. what cowards we are i said to her. that we have no problem with all those deaths of all those innocent people, because we are afraid of our own death. how totally not christian that is.

4. Not to mention that that argument is ridiculous. |
|
Is there some kind of rule that states that enemy combatants must stay in Iraq and fight our military instead of coming to our homeland to carry out another 9/11? This just defies any kind of basic reasoning.
If people actually believe that we are fighting a war abroad to prevent the 'bad' people from attacking our citizens at home, then I have strong doubts about their ability to function in a civilized society.

5. What is the matter with you? Don't you understand |
|
that the Ends DOES justify the Means? I think you might need a lesson in the bookeeping that goes into doing cost:benefit analysis and defining "the Greater Good". :sarcasm:
P.S. I can at least respect those who say "It is worth one human life and that life is my own." I must say though that I disagree with such people if his/her life is defined in murderous acts rather than in acts of healing and compassion. If their actions were limited to those like themselves it would be more ethically consistent, though no less sad and destructive. I see no goodness in kill or be killed, only a certain "justice" that is fulfilled by its inevitable conclusion. All of us are one, murder is suicide.

3. All of the Terrorists in World are going to Iraq to fight "us" there. |
|
They will stay in Iraq until we've killed every last one of them. All of the Iraqis will forget who killed their families. They will join the U.S. to fight ALL Terrorists (without reservation for any deal-making), because they want our way of life. When the U.S. and Iraq have killed all of the Terrorists, other nations in the region will be so jealous of what Iraq has that each will rise up in spontaneous totally successful revolution and overthrow their leaders. All of the new leaders will be totally cooperative with U.S. aims in the region.
Because All of the Terrorists are so pre-occupied with Iraq there will be no more 9/11s here. Terrorist acts on the scale of 9/11 are the only terrorist acts that have significant effect on us. Our businesses, domestic and multi-national, are not vulnerable to "industrial espionage and terrorism". All water and food supplies and other community services in the U.S. are completely safe.

6. There was no risk we would be fighting them here. False argument. |
|
There will still be sporadic "terrorist" attacks as long as we continue to mess around with other countries sovereignties and economies and we keep trying to steal their stuff. There is nothing to stop these attacks if someone chooses to do them. Ask Israel.
