we are living in a two parallel world: A split, divided world.
the one is populated by bush and his bushistas, the criminal lawmakers (if this appears to be in contradiction in tersm what, in the bush regime falls not into the category of contradiction in ters?) and the corporate press with their concert of lies and propaganda; also this paralell is populated by warmkaers, bomb throwers, power grabbers and peace snatchers.

the other is populated by truthseekers, peacemakers, and constitution holders.

when, and where, shall the twain ever meet?

dialogue ourselves back into reality and kindness, but i kind like your answer. any chance bush would be there also?

2. In the perfect candidate:
a half-truth-telling, gray-area lawmaker who doesn't throw bombs but gladly stabs backs.

Or maybe not?

5. 'freedom lies in being bold'
as robert frost once said. maybe that's the problem:
"the best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of shit'...er i mean 'passionate intensity" as wb yeats wrote.
the majority despise bush. so let us do something about it.

6. yes, but where do we begin.
Edited on Sun Sep-10-06 03:00 PM by flordehinojos
the corporate media is full of "passionate intensity" (to quote your quote of yeats). this morning i watched george will say something like people are outraged at this ABC docufantasy (or have turned against bush) because of the Michael Moore 911 thing. what a damn outrage! he does not give people one single iota of credit for seeing through the bush/cheney passionate shitful intensity and blames it all on a film which he discredits then, on the local sunday talk show, michael putney and glenna millberg referred to "critics of the 9/11 film..." as if what is being said by the film's critics is just a blatant lie, or manipulation. they are twisting the whole thing around. they too should be held accountable for selling america to bush's fascist power grab. they actually were in on it from the get go of his campaign against gore in 2000.

so.. where do we begin? they have the machines. they have the lies. they have the media and the media outlets.

where do we begin? i am at a lost place. i don't know where we begin.

11. i should talk....
i have made up a poster attacking local talk radio. it says '____talk radio, hate radio for all the bush lovers' etc with the stations in watermarks and a couple frames naming the most egregious rw radio hosts....i posted a few of them but; well i'd rather coach, if you know what i mean. anyway, one day i'll begin posting the copies, all over the place, and the pigmedia will not like it. maybe you could do something likewise....(?)
just remember, the battle can't be lost - eventually, the carbon gangsters and the police statists and the drug warriors and the hypocrites who rape the planet while demanding 'don't walk on the lawn' etc will lose even the pretense of being right, and will fade away....the mess left will be vast, but what does anyone expect from pigs(?)

7. Oh, there's lots of mixed up people in the middle.
I know a conservation-loving Bush voter, for example. I also know a really kind-hearted, Catholic, Republican.

It's easy to think we're all totally polarized, but we're not. I think Rush Limbaugh, for one, gets a lot of his power from making people think liberals are all hedonistic, baby-killing, pot-smoking, hippies. But it's not that simple.

8. and rushlimbaugh gets his definition of liberals from poppy bush
and his 1988 campaign against michael dukakis.

and yes, there are kind hearted people out there...it just seems like they are getting to be far and fewer in between.

9. 9/11 has been the day of the reality split -
one "reality" forced upon us by the mass media/government(s), and one reality for the truth seekers. It's hard work to maintain the truth seeker's reality against the media's daily attempts at brainwashing us.
