After awhile of evaluation I have decided that the Republican party has a theme:
The Old Frontier.
That's where they want to take us back to, where people depended more on guns, no government social programs existed and people worked for either no wages or very low wages and people did not have the right to strike without getting beaten up.
John Kennedy said that to those who had much given to, had much to give back.
In the Republican party to those who have much given to, had much more to take from this country.

2. And yet when people actually LIVED on the Old Frontier |
|
they devoted most of their lives to getting modernized.. They longed for a bterre life. Towns spent lots of time and money setting up courts, schools, laws, businesses..
That lawless, libertarian time was only "fun" for the bad guys.. I guess that's why right wingers long for it so much..
