1. I'm trying my hardest not to turn on my television today or tomorrow,

except for Keith Olbermann and Countdown tomorrow night (if he's even on,due to idiot son speech).
I had to get away from here (DU) for a while 'cause I was getting too depressed about Repuke lies, Path to 9/11 already airing in some locations, not to mention earthquake in the Gulf of Mexico.

It's been over a year since my doggie left me--she had been my best friend and source of unconditional love for 13 years. She still visits me in dreams, gives me licks and lets me stroke her soft, silky ears. But then I wake up and she's not here. God, I miss her! I can't even watch dog shows on TV anymore without crying.

I'm getting away from DU, too, for awhile--starting to drive myself nutso with all this Repuke crap going down. Refuse to watch the 911 "movie" on ABC of course--just hope everyone sees it for the lie it is.

4. Oh, Cynic, I am so sorry about your loss!

I can empathize because I had to have my previous "geriatric puppy" (who was about 18 at the time) put to sleep almost two years ago. No need for details. This one is about a year and a half, (Yorkie Poo), spoiled (but not spoiled rotten), not completely housetrained, but affectionate, unconditionally loving, and I love her dearly.
I love her and she loves me.
(I also have 2 neutered male cats who are better behaved and housebroken, and we all love each other very much!). :hug:
PS I just gave Morgan (the pupperdoggie)multiple kisses, because I'm greatful to have her. She makes me laugh.
