GREAT IDEA: political talk shows captioned like POP UP VIDEO |
|
Take the research of Media Matters and pair it with pop up fact checking with sources cited.
So when Bill O'Reilly says his boycott of France hurt their economy, you'd get a little bubble that says our trade with France has actually increased according to the department of commerce (or whoever keeps track of that).
I bet it would be more popular than the shows it was making fun of, a lot like talk soup when Greg Kinnear was doing it.

7. I'll second that motion. That would be great! |
|
With a B*sh speech, half the popups would be FactCheck, and the other half could be devoted to grammar and pronunciation. That would be entertaining AND informational.

10. Bill O'Reilly really said his boycott of France hurt their economy? |
|
Yipes.
You are aware the only people that would believe such things are the folks who wouldn't be able to read the pop-ups.
