Rumsfeld: I'll fire anyone who says we need to plan for after the war
The Daily Press from Newport News, Va. is reporting that:

Long before the United States invaded Iraq in 2003, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld forbade military strategists to develop plans for securing a postwar Iraq, the retiring commander of the Army Transportation Corps said Thursday.

In fact, said Brig. Gen. Mark Scheid, Rumsfeld said "he would fire the next person" who talked about the need for a postwar plan.
...Scheid, who is also the commander of Fort Eustis in Newport News, made his comments in an interview with The Daily Press. He retires in about three weeks.

Scheid's comments are further confirmation of the version of events reported in "Cobra II: The Inside Story of the Invasion and Occupation of Iraq," the book by New York Times reporter Michael R. Gordon and retired Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Bernard E. Trainor.

3. Good grief. It gets worse every day.
Yeah, you wouldn't want to have a plan or anything. Just making it up as you go is always the best procedure for a Defense Secretary of the US to follow.

Excuse me, I'm going to go scream now.

6. Mr. Bush: please fire him now and appoint a SOD for national salvation.
May I suggest Bill Cohen, if he wants the crappy job. Blood on your collective hands, BushCo,Inc. Blood on your collective hands.

This is precisely what the BushCo, Inc. agenda truly is: to keep Iraq in turmoil in order to keep "peace keepers" in the country of Iraq in the form of permanent US/NATO bases in order to protect the oil in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and Iraq and Iran be damned, for this will bring the hightest possible stable oil (high) prices/(low) flow to the US and Europe.

They know that the oil industry is in its death throes: they are the final Roman Emperors relishing in the past glory of a dying empire.

All the NeoCon and Talibangelist agitprop are exactly that: agitprop a final attempt to justify their greed with philosophy and Bible verses. These groups are expendible and will be shortly tossed aside, all true believers, whether of the Ariel Cohen or Pat Robinson camp, they have been tossed a few bones in legislation, but Big Business, specifically of the oilogarchy (this is not mispelt) and the military-industrial complex will do as they have Wolfowitz: send you to the World Bank as Bolton was sent to NY. They had a good run, we actually thought you were dangerous, but only of a temporary status in reality: they were mere tools.

I hope the true believers at the Heritage Foundation and the PTL Club get the message: Donald Rumsfeld doesn't care about Iraqi Democracy, only about Arabian oil.
