INAYAT QALA, Pakistan – Thousands of angry Pakistanis protested Sunday against a U.S. airstrike that killed civilians, chanting "Long live Osama bin Laden!" as anti-American rallies in the country entered their second week.
"America is the biggest terrorist in the world," said Maulana Mohammed Sadiq, a lawmaker in the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party that helped organize the protest. "America bombed innocent people inside their homes."
On Saturday, Pakistan's President Gen. Pervez Musharraf told visiting U.S. Undersecretary of State Nicholas Burns that the United States cannot repeat such attacks, a Foreign Ministry official said. Foreign Minister Khursheed Kasuri called the assault "counterproductive" given the "prevailing public sentiment."
They were Musharraf's first publicized comments on the attack, as the leader tried to soothe mounting disapproval of his backing of the U.S.-led war on terror.

Pakistan, world have no clue as to location of bin Laden, Zawahiri -- Aziz
WASHINGTON -- Pakistan's Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz disputed reports that Zawarhiri and other key Qaeda members were having a dinner meeting in Damadola, and said such reports were
"bizarre. These people do not get together like that." However, if any Qaeda members were hit in the strike, Pakistan will find out and share this information with the world, he added.
Pakistan understands that it will work with the United States to fight terrorists, but such incidents as the strike in Damadola "should not recur," Aziz said. "There is no reason we should not communicate." Aziz dismissed "totally" reports that some elements of the Pakistani government and military support al Qaeda, saying that Pakistan has a very effective security and intelligence apparatus that delivers results through joint operations with U.S. forces.
"These people (al Qaeda) are no friends of anyone," he added.
