NO COMMERCIAL INTERRUPTION...
Does that mean they couldn't find sponsors...or were they intending to do this in this manner?

It's one long 4 hour Ad for the Republican Party.

1. I am sure they did this because
they KNEW it would cause controversy, no company was stupid enough to air an ad!

2. It means this is a RW propaganda piece and ABC loves fascism.
They sure wouldn't show Moore's film, due to 'political' reasons.

any economic power left, I expect to see HUGE HITS to Disney and Scholastic stocks on Monday.

7. I would guess our taxes financed the whole thing
No, I cannot prove it. But during the past five years our taxes have supported the creation and distribution of fake news that was given to local media outlets. Why would the neocons change their M.O. this late in the game?

8. How many TV Docudramas
take out full page ads in newspapers. There was a thread earlier stating that The NY Times, WAPO, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Cleveland PD all had full page ads in them today. I suspect there were plenty more besides those and I also suspect that is not cheap to do.

10. Seriously??? WOW
I've been trying to find out who the sponsors were going to be.

Be sure to post if and when a sponsor is mentioned, please. Those are the ones I want to target.

13. A massive "in kind" contribution to the Repuke party
by ABC.

Does anybody have any idea how much 5 hours of primetime is worth in terms of commercials?

14. A gift from ABC? For the good of the country.
My right-wing companion tells me that ABC donated the time because of the noble cause. I'm sure he heard this bit of wisdom from Rush...that's where he finds out what to think. The rest of us who are appalled are all brainwashed, you understand. Such people.
