wasn't it delayed several times due to Disney's bullshit and stalling?

If I remember correctly, he tried to get it released well in advance of the 2004 elections.

4. F9/11 was released on the Fourth of July in the US

6. I recall that Michael Moore worked the Disney story for publicity
Moore knew months ago that Disney-Miramax had backed out of distribution, but as the release date approached, he revisited the story to get a controversy in the press. It worked. Good for Michael Moore.
