Turn off "The Path" and turn on CBS for a real documentary "911." |
|
This is already greatly compelling, and it is hosted by Robert DeNiro.
A must see.

3. The film-makers started out filming a rookie firefighter and the film |
|
evolved into a completely different subject matter.
Compelling.

7. whoever filmed the path or more precisely, who edited it |
|
was a fucking amateur. they try to "enhance" non-sensical discussions with pointless close-ups. events are "concocted" with such obvious signalling, the lighting is horrible and distracting and the works come together like oil and water. pretty pathetic.

10. or Discovery channel - The Price of Security |
|
am posting again gita is my friend and if you have already seen the CBS show - watch this one now This Sunday, CCR Staff Attorney Gitanjali Gutierrez--part of the CCR team that represents detainees and coordinates the defense work of the 500 volunteer attorneys participatingg in our Guantánamo Justice Project--will appear in the first of Ted Koppel's new series of documentaries for the Discovery Channel. The program will also prominently feature CCR client Maher Arar, a Syrian-Canadian who was rendered by the US government to Syria, where he was tortured for nearly a year before being released and allowed to return home. The Price of Security will consider just how much of our liberty we are willing to give up in the name of security and whether we are actually safer as a result.
What: The Center for Constitutional Rights and our client Maher Arar (a victim of "extraordinary rendition," the government's policy of outsourcing torture) will be featured prominently in The Price of Security, Ted Koppel's premiere documentary on the Discovery Channel!
When: Sunday, 10 September, 8:00pm ET/PT

I'm glad I found that wonderful CBS film instead. Instead of feeling rage and raising my blood pressure, I was awestruck with how wonderful human beings can be in the face of darkness.
