Where is bin Laden? It has been 5 years.
Edited on Sun Sep-10-06 09:46 PM by Botany
5 f***ing years later and he is still sucking oxygen.

Every Democrat across the country should be shouting this question.
No way to spin it, bin Laden is still free. No way to tell us that we
are winning the war on terrorif the #1 terrorist is still alive.

I going to put up some "where is bin Laden?" signs tonight.

Tomorrow everybody should call all the talk shows and all the members
of Congress and ask, "Where is bin Laden?"

WW II for the U.S. Dec 7th 1941 to August 1945.
3 years and 9 months

2. Absolutely right, Botany.
Thousands of dead American soldiers and bin Laden is enjoying the five-year anniversary secure in the knowledge that the United States is so tied up in its failed war in Iraq that the world's mightiest nation can't spare the manpower to go look for him.

4. Better use of time than avoiding a tv station.
More positive use of time too. Call everyone and ask "where is Osama?"

8. I think if we read Paul Thompson's book/timeline and also the great
Press for Truth video, we can draw the conclusion that Bush is giving Bin Laden a pass. After numerous opportunities (famously at Tora Bora) to capture Bin Laden and ending up with Bin Laden 'miraculously' escaping, I think the only thing we can conclude is that he's been allowed to be free.

He's probably still in Pakistan.

11. Osama bin Laden is under wraps for now.
But the American government is cleaning him up, preparing him for his "capture" in October.

THE OCTOBER SURPRISE!

WE GOT HIM! WOO-HOO!! LOOK YE HERE, AMURIKA, WE GOT HIM!!! YEE-HA!!!!

Until that time, he's resting comfortably in a Suite at a Five Star Hotel.

Back to your regular programming...

12. Pakistan where he has been since the Taliban in Afghanistan fell
And the Pakistan government knows at the very least the region where is at.

Now, the deal is that since the Pakistan government threw away the idea of going after the Taliban in the region essentially making peace with the inhabinants there.

Now, here we sit. We are essentially sitting tied to our closest "ally" in the war against terror and they are essentially declaring they are not going back into the area where Bin Laden is probably in.

Grand.

This is a re-play of every backing of a military dictatorship relationship the US has had. We back the dictator becomes dependant on the dictator and then they start to screw us over slowly and surely. The nuclear scientist gives secrets to North Korea and Iran I believe they export terrorism to Khasmir and were formely the best buddies of the Taliban.

But at the same time wasn't some of the intelligence used to uncover the whole British plane plot coming from them? I know they have handed over a couple of Al Queda guys. What a mess.

14. I'm going to assume he's living where he's welcome, in Pakistan
He's welcome to live there, as long as he lives in peace and abides by the law - officially.

See for yourself in this American news clip:

Though, I could swear I saw him on the Blue Train heading out from McPherson Square (that's in D.C., midtown between a block or two up from 16th & Penn ;)). All dressed in white with his head lowered slightly like he was praying. It was a creepy day... a creepy day it was. The aforementioned really happened, a post-traumatic hallucination I guess.
