Is the idea to LOSE the war on terror until America is transformed?

Why can't we catch OBL? Why are there more terrorists now then when the war started? Why can't we get control of situation in Iraq?... Are we really so inept and ineffectual, or is this just part of the program? I suppose if we were actually "winning", the Patriot Act could be repealed, and the NSA would have no need to spy on us, and a host of other power grabbing, constitution wreaking, bullshit would never have a chance to get off the ground. My guess is once they reach their ultimate goal of transforming us into a corpo-fascist state, the war on terror will suddenly and mysteriously end. We will simply pull most of our troops out of Iraq, and no one will ever hear from Osama again. Just trippin'

4. True. What was I thinking? Even my grim scenario is an optimist's

pipe dream compared to the reality of the situation. I guess it shouldn't be such a surprise; many, including some founding fathers and Eisenhower, foresaw this danger.
