Sen. Kerry's speech on Real National Security -C-Span 6:30- A must watch! |
|
Really. This speech contains some of the most potent and direct criticisms against the administration's and details a new direction and a path forward. It will be repeated at 9:30 and 12:30 AM.

6. This was an incredible speech! Even more incredible was the |
|
audience response. You don't get the full effect of that on C-Span. But on C-Span you do get the closeups of the senator.
The balconies were filled and there was a lot of cheering. It seemed that C-Span might have muted some of the applause and cheering so that he would be heard clearly in the broadcast. Maybe it was just that sitting there you in the audience you really got an earful. It was fantastic.
The best part of the televised speech was when you got to see the senator's smile at the audience response to his line, "No President should be for torture before he's against it."
Everybody in this country should watch this speech. Sadly, very few of the people who really should will.
Just today I heard some moronic woman on C-Span talking about appeasers. There was nothing about appeasement in JK's speech.
