Laura Bush's iPOD...
From the moonie times....

Mrs. Bush also revealed that her IPod listening includes songs by Tina Turner and Dolly Parton. She said her musical tastes are somewhat different from those of her husband.
"He likes country music a little bit more than I do, although I actually really am very fond of country music, as well," she said. "One of the songs on my IPod that I love is Dolly Parton singing 'Stairway to Heaven.' So that's sort of a combination, country and pop."

Comment: as a fan of Led Zep, all I can think of when she mentions liking Dolly Parton's version of Stairway is :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke:

1. I was really surprised by some of her other choices.
"I Wanna Be Your Dog" by The Stooges? "Heroin" by The Velvet Underground? "New York" by The Sex Pistols? Seriously...is that the kind of music a first lady should be listening to?

Good article, though.

3. If you were to make up something for her to say, wouldn't it be
exactly what she said?

Or, did somebody make this up?

5. Yes, seems like her mouthpieces are trying to make her
musical preferences appeal to the masses everywhere.
I'm not buying it.

6. laura bush is feeding the propaganda ...
Stairway to Heaven (though i've not heard the song) has a tittle that pleases right wing-nuts.

But she speaks schizophrenogenically, as if it is not okay to say that she doesn't go for country music. she says, "he likes country music a little bit more than I do, and then contradicts what she says by saying, although, i actually really am very fond of country music, as well.
which goes, i think, to the bushes not giving each other permission to own their own selves, their own thoughts, their own lives. it is as if they all have the same brain, the same self, and no independent life.

if laura where to have to stand on her own to legs, she would fall down--just like junior does every time he stands on his own two legs.

7. Does anyone by any chance have...
The audio of Bono singing Sunday Bloody Sunday in front of Bushie and Pickles, at Big Dog's library dedication back in 2004.

If so, perhaps we should send them that to download to Pickles' IPod. :)

9. And here I was placing odds that "Stand by Your Man"
would be on that list. I didn't think they let Stepford Wives choose what music they listen to - might give them ideas.
